Hi! We're glad you're here.
10 years ago, Gary, Ruth and Jenny made kimchi together for the first time, and kept doing so a few times each year since.
To celebrate reaching the milestone decade, this Summer they decided to share the passion with a small group, and so came about Kimchi in the Country.
What can you expect?
On July 26th, please make your way to Goring and Streatley Station in Oxfordshire by 10:30 am (a 9am or 9:30am GWR or Elizabeth line from Paddington via Reading for any Londoners). Ruth has planned a wonderful hike for us through the local countryside and that will take us through to lunch (pay-your-own) at a local pub.
After lunch, we've booked a community kitchen for the afternoon just down the street.
We're going to share and teach you how to make a few of our favourite recipes and send you home with the jars you made plus a fermentation recipe book to practice at home.
We can get train travellers to Reading Station for onward journeys from around 5-6pm.
How to join?
We can only accommodate some 15-20 people, so if you want to join, please choose your ticket below and register using this form
Please bring a bottle of water and wear appropriate attire for both the weather and the day's activities.
