Hi, and thanks for stopping by!

I'm Gary. I help purpose-led leaders navigate change and scale their impact while also meeting their health and wellness goals.

I grew up loving nature in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Technology also fascinated me, and that’s where my career began—in technology consulting and then in telecommunications.

My focus started shifting when I joined PwC in Beijing, moving from tech to cleantech, and then to sustainability. In 2009, I relocated to London to take on the first-ever full-time global role in PwC's sustainability practice. Over the next 15 years I held various leadership positions, including driving PwC’s global water and smart cities practices and founding PwC’s sustainability academy.

Besides my love for nature, growing up in Colorado also gave me my love of sport. I was in the 80s and 90s a competitive ice skater then coach, then in the naughties also a Chinese wushu and parkour coach. By 2015 I stepped back from full-time at PwC to focus more on teaching also yoga, breathwork and meditation. I founded my community interest company Sharkey and Friends in 2018 to help extend access to high quality health and wellness coaching to London's nonprofits and small and medium businesses.

In 2025, I left PwC to focus on other passions, including my work with Sharkey and Friends as well as my own business and wellness coaching and freelance advisory work. â€‹

To help me find more people to work with in these capacities, I created this page as a quick introduction to me, and set out this illustrative coaching journey and this short introduction to some of my professional capabilities. In case you're after a CV, here's a simple one for you.

If you’d like to explore ways to work together, I’d love to hear from you.

Thanks again for visiting!
